The same five steps at every office, whoever answers.

You choose the office closest to home or work. We offer the next time that suits you.
Health plan, auto medical coverage, workers' compensation or paying yourself. A plan name and a claim contact are enough, and we check benefits before you come.
Photo ID, your insurance cards, any claim number and a list of your medications. If you were seen in an emergency room, bring the discharge papers.
Your doctor asks about that in person, in a private room. The same goes for our website form.

Questions
You talk with your doctor about what happened and how you feel, then have a hands-on exam. Your doctor explains what they found and what care they suggest, and you decide. A first visit takes about 45 minutes. Your first visit page lists what to bring.
Some people feel sore for a day or two after an adjustment. Rarely, a neck adjustment has been linked to a tear in an artery in the neck; research has not shown whether the adjustment causes it. Your doctor asks about your history first and explains the risks before any neck adjustment. If a visit would not be right for you, your doctor sends you to a physician.
Your doctor sets a plan with you after the exam. We don't promise a number of visits or a result, and the plan changes as you do.
We bill many health plans and, after a crash, the medical coverage on an auto policy where the policy allows it. Our intake team checks your benefits before your first visit and calls you with what they find. How fees work has the details.
You have the right to a Good Faith Estimate, and we give you a written estimate before your first visit. After each visit you get an itemized receipt. Your doctor tells you the cost of each part of a visit before it happens.
Only when medically necessary. Your doctor tells you why before ordering one and answers your questions. If you already have images from an emergency room or another provider, bring them.
Tell us which office and when. We call, text or email the way you pick.
