Care
Soft tissue care
Hands-on work on tight muscles and the tissue around your joints, alongside the rest of your care plan.
Your doctor uses their hands on muscles and soft tissue, with pressure that you can ask them to change. It is part of a chiropractic visit, not a spa treatment.

What a visit includes, and what it does not
What a visit includes
A talk about where you feel tight, a hands-on exam and soft tissue work if you agree to it. Your doctor tells you what they are doing and why.
How long and how often
Your doctor sets a plan with you after the exam. We don't promise a number of visits or a result, and the plan changes as you do.
What we do not claim
We don't say soft tissue work breaks up scar tissue, and it is not a substitute for medical care. We don't promise a result.
When to see a physician first
Some symptoms need a medical doctor first. Your doctor asks about this at the exam and refers you when that is the better first step.
Your health plan, auto medical coverage or paying yourself. Some plans pay for it only with other care. Read how fees work, or ask before you book.
Questions about this care
Is this a massage?
It is hands-on work by your chiropractor as part of your care plan. It is not a spa massage.
Can I ask for less pressure?
Yes, at any time. Tell your doctor and they will change what they are doing.
Does a visit include soft tissue work every time?
Only if your doctor suggests it and you agree.
